Need Wi-Fi? IU is providing free, secure, high-speed wireless access to all Hoosiers in 24-hour “lot hot spots” around the state.
Accessing the hot spots
People with IU affiliations will be able to access Wi-Fi through IU Secure and eduroam, while others can use the IU Guest network. For IU affiliates who haven't yet switched to eduroam, switching is easy. If IU affiliates are currently following COVID-19 protocols somewhere besides home, eduroam is available at a number of institutions within Indiana and beyond, including IU Riley Hospital for Children.
Getting started with eduroam
Select the eduroam SSID and enter your full IU email address (e.g., email@example.com) and passphrase.
Instructions for manual configuration are available in IU's Knowledge Base.
Troubleshoot your connection
Many Wi-Fi connectivity problems are the result of settings or other issues on individual users' computers and mobile devices and can easily be fixed.
